A twelve year old BOY lives together with his FATHER on a tiny island in the middle of the sea. They are a part of a small coastal community that have been inhabiting this island for centuries. The story takes place on Crab Day, the town’s most important holiday. It’s a ritual that marks a transition from boyhood into manhood. Everything changes when one boy goes against the rules.
