The festival's traditional non-competitive programme LADIES FIRST, compiles animation works about women, created by women. This year's programme is particularly impressive: the variety of voices, languages, and cultural and social issues creates a real polyphony of meanings. Unfortunately, there are many new stories on old topics: sexual objectification, physical and mental violence, dysmorphophobia, and gender discrimination. Fortunately, women's voices are becoming more and more confident and determined in these stories. Who knows, maybe one day we will even see the long-awaited happy ending?

Running time 73 min.
