The past never truly disappears — it returns through memories, unhealed wounds, and losses that continue to shape the present. The protagonists of these films try to recover lost parts of themselves, come to terms with the pain left behind by loved ones, or understand who they have become in the aftermath of their experiences. This selection explores what remains with us, even as memories gradually begin to fade.
