ED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. We pair scientists, professors, TED speakers, TED fellows, journalists, etc with writers, animation filmmakers, studios, composers, and sound designers to bring to life animated short films that spark curiosity and promote learning.
Over the past 8 years, in collaboration with over 300 animation filmmakers and studios,TED-Ed has published 1000+ animated shorts that have reached over 1 billion learners around the world.
TED-Ed's animated shorts are translated into 35+ languages, and are available for free on TED.com and our YouTube channel so that anyone with access to the internet can watch, interact with, and learn from our content. TED-Ed has grown from an idea worth spreading into an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students around the world every week.
