A conversation with Mykyta Lyskov about the production of his short "Kyiv Cake", the support of the legendary Priit Pärn, and how Mykyta became the first foreign director to receive funding from the Estonian Film Institute.

Mykyta Lyskov is an artist and animation director from Dnipro. In 2012, he graduated from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University (animation directing). His film "Love" (2019) won around 15 awards at festivals worldwide, including DOK Leipzig and Turku. He teaches at the Dnipro Art College.
