What is risography, and how did artists "discover" RISO for art? How riso animation comes to life—from flipbook to music video; why it’s compelling and how it connects to early cinema; the unique RISO aesthetic with notable examples and practical tips; and an overview of a riso-animation lab in Kyiv.

Speaker: Oleh Fedunchak — graphic designer, illustrator, and printmaker; co-founder of the risograph studio RISODENTSIA and the printed-graphics hub VILNYI PRINT. He works with the Risograph as an artistic tool, exploring its limits and possibilities, and combines experimental print graphics, hand-printing techniques, and principles of contemporary design. His approach is attentive to material, technology, and visual meaning, creating works at the intersection of aesthetics, structure, and the printing process. Portfolio: 8,000+ hours of teaching in design, 10 conference talks, and 50+ lectures, trainings, and workshops (from individual to corporate).
