Based on own material and many years of experience, artist Alina Yakubenko will explain in detail the embodiment of ideas using the language of video art. The author will provide a step-by-step explanation of the way her video projects were implemented: starting from the idea’s verbalization, its transformation into a script and up to the filming and work with the actors, stressing on the editing process.
Alina Yakubenko is an artist working with different arts, in particular new media, and also in public spaces. The author develops various themes, namely feminism, environment, and historical memory. She participates in many collective projects, including Kyiv International Biennale and Document (Kassel, 2017).
