The theme of this year’s festival is HEROES AND VILLAINS, so it served as the basis for creating this video. It portrays the fight of the opposites, when it is hard to determine where good or evil is, especially if faces are hidden behind the masks.
The video was made by Garma Studio. They used several animation technologies to show the endless capacities of this medium, e.g. 3D, classic, stop frame and cutout animation.
From September 28 till October 1, in Dovzhenko Center, the festival will organize the biggest screening of world animation in Ukraine: 250 films, 12 theme programs, 10 lectures and workshops from industry professionals, interactive entertainment, special events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Ukrainian animation, and extensive program for children.
