During the lecture, we will talk about two main directions, 2D and 3D animation. At first sight, the difference is only in one number, but they have different software behind them, radically different approaches to work and therefore different results. Using specific examples, the lecturer will tell the audience what they need to start studying, where the novices can get their knowledge, how to understand which path to choose, 2D or 3D animation, and will also prove that making animation today is a task within the power of anyone.

Nikita Kravtsov is the founder of two successful projects: Pause to Play animation studio specializing in animation for scientists and innovators all over the world and Pause to Play animation school which trains in different animation types, including stop-motion, 2D, 3D, and VFX.
